Simple Background Tab

The Simple Background Tab is where you can setup most scene backgrounds. This ranges from a simple color background to an HDRI environment.

1.The Simple Background Tab.

2.Background preview.

3.Background render options.

4.Background type selection.

In most cases the Simple Background Tab can be used in conjunction with the Edit Background tab. If a complex shader is used to create a background using the Simple Tab will replace the complex shader.

Users of previous versions of Poser will notice many changes around how background images are loaded and manipulated. These options were widely scattered in the interface. All Background related controls can now be found on this tab.

Using Background Pictures

You can import static images as backgrounds. For example, if you are creating a scene with Poser characters in a room with a window, you could use a background image to simulate the view from the window. There are two ways to add a background image. The Simple Background Tab in the Material Room is by far the easiest method.
